Meet and Greet on arrival at the Belize International Airport. Connect to a short commuter flight to Placencia, south of Belize City. Transfer to your selected hotel.

Explore Monkey River by boat, observing Howler Monkeys, Tropical birds, Iguanas, Crocodiles and many other species of wildlife. Stop at the village of Monkey River to place your lunch order and then drive upriver for 20 minutes and hike trails through the rainforest to view families of Howler Monkeys and several species of flora and fauna with an experienced licenced tour guide. This is a remarkable wildlife trip! On your return down river you will stop in the Village to enjoy your lunch of local Creole food. After lunch your boat captain will take you through mangrove estuaries at the edge of the lagoon which are home to the elusive Manatee.

Day 4 Placencia, Cayo District
Transfer by minivan 3 hours to the Cayo District to the lively little town of San Ignacio, situated between the Macal and Mopan Rivers. Overnight at your selected hotel.

Today, you will take the Xunantunch and Barton Creek Caves Tour. Full-Day Private Xunantunich Maya Temples and Barton Creek Caves by Canoe: Xunantunich sits just inside the Western border of Belize to Guatemala. Before reaching the entrance of this ancient city, your party will board a 19th century hand-cranked ferry which takes you across the Mopan River. From this vantage point, one gains a panoramic view of the Cayo District and Guatemala. Next, we continue to Barton Creek Cave in Amish territory. Equipped with canoes and high-powered lights we gently paddle into Xibalba (she-bal-ba). As you glide through the cave system you will be dazzled by the glistening crystalline rock formations and awed by the Mayan artifacts secretly tucked away in overhead alcoves.

Day 7 Cayo District, Ambergris Caye
Mid-morning return transfer via the Western Highway to Belize City. (Note: it is possible to arrange a transfer with a stop for cave tubing and a zipline on the return from Cayo District to Belize City.) Upon arrival, you will take a short 20 minute commuter flight to the seaside village of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye.

Day 8 Ambergris Caye
If you want underwater adventure without the hassle of becoming a certified diver then SNUBA is for you! Explore clear tropical waters with pristine coral reefs, incredible sea life paired with the most knowledgeable SNUBA guides in the world. SNUBA diving is the safest and easiest way possible to experience the fascination of SCUBA diving with the simplicity of snorkeling. You can SNUBA down to 20 feet with no prior experience! Just bring your bathing suit and grab that underwater camera! Depart aboard a covered, speedboat for a scenic cruise to one of our SNUBA locations (location is dependent on weather and tidal conditions). While underway, your professional SNUBA guide will provide a briefing on the safe use of SNUBA. This tour is fully guided for your safety and entertainment. The underwater portion of the tour is approximately 35 minutes.
